Did you ever wonder why dinosaur skeletons are found in museums the world over - but they do not appear in the standard English Bible? Here is your answer!
The word dinosaur was coined in the mid-1800s. Prior to that, the word used for nearly 2000 years was dragons. The word dragon comes from the Greek word drakon - and there were other words from other civilizations that meant the same thing.
In Hebrew, there are many words - behemoth and tanniyn - among them. My new book is Behold Now Behemoth: Dinosaurs All Over the Bible! is being published by Westbow Press and will be out in a few weeks.
I would be happy to answer any questions on the topic you may have.
